The Denver chapter of The Poetry Brothel returns with another delicious serving of bawdy ballads and ribald rhyme, this time inviting all to come and transform into their favorite monster for an October evening. The fully immersive experience is modeled after 18th century bordellos, with poets offering personal one-on-one poetry readings to patrons along with a cocktail hour and a full stage show, plus vendors, burlesque, comedy, music and appearances by our Aurora Poet Laureate Ahja Fox and Master of Ceremonies Orange Peel Moses. RiNo’s Beacon will host the event on Oct. 22 and tickets are still available (but going monstrously fast).
