Someone once asked me to name the most amazing place I'd ever been to. A bioluminescent lagoon in Puerto Rico was my answer. During a trip to perform at EDC Puerto Rico, a few friends and I had the opportunity to kayak to a lagoon filled with bioluminescent plankton. Every time the water was disturbed, it would light up bright blue. We were in awe.

My thoughts are with Puerto Rico right now as it attempts to recover from the damage wrought by Hurricane Maria. Millions of residents are without electricity and/or water, and it seems unclear how much the U.S. government is going to help.
