ABOUT ORANGE PEEL MOSES
Performer | Writer | PERSONALITY
“A rare character.” – The Onion.
Orange peel moses has been a ubiquitous fixture in the Denver art scene for 15 plus years. As a musician, he’s played Red Rocks and nabbed Best Club DJ with his former EDM bandmates. As a stilt performer, he’s cavorted onstage with LMFAO and Will.i.am for hyped crowds at Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. As a singing telegram artist, he has introduced Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and ambushed former KUSA anchor Liz Kotalik in a diaper and wings—on live TV. As a music journalist, he has interviewed artists ranging from Steve Aoki to Henry Rollins.
As a performance artist, Orange peel moses has never been one to shy away from larger-than-life characters. He has impersonated The White Rabbit, Nightmare Before Christmas’ Jack Skellington, Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson and The Grinch. He performs an homage to Johnny Cash, and he even brings a unicorn to life via four-legged stilts. Orange peel moses is currently working on his upcoming single "Under the Eclipse.”
What People are Saying
Irena Murphy, Actress
"This guy is awesome! He came to my salon for my birthday and sang me "Hairdresser on Fire" by Morrissey...dressed as a gorilla:) It was totally memorable and the reactions from the people there were priceless.
He also custom writes songs to fit the person and occasion. What a totally unique service :)"
Milkman, Fantastic Hosts DJ
"The impresario of this singing telegram service is none other than Orange Peel Moses, a true local original & talent. The 'custom' referenced in the name of his business is truth in advertising, as he tailors every 'special delivery' to the lucky recipient. If you want to make any special occasion that much more special, call this guy and see how he makes it a unique & memorable experience".
